Day 2 at Cape Cod Sea Camp
Hi from Shannon and Ashley! :) We had a busy and really fun day today. We started with a walk on the beach at 7am. We found two horseshoe crabs and saved them. Then we had a yummy breakfast in the dining hall. Then the real adventure began with kayaking. Yes, it was tiring but it was a good experience for all. After eating our bag lunch from the camp, we went inside to the Salt Pond Visitor Center for a short film on sand and the geological history of Cape Cod. After that, we went to the Audubon, looked at oysters and took a walk to catch marine life like shrimp, horseshoe crabs, fiddler crabs, nine spine stickle back fish and mummichog fish. To finish off our day we had a lobster and steak buffet with chicken, potatoes, mussels, clams and chowder. Having a great time in Massachusetts, Ashley and Shannon. :)

Hi! Sounds like you are having a great time so jealous about the kayaking though the water is a bit rough here on Bailey Island. I'm hoping you (Shannon) ate the lobster part of your dinner. Can't wait to here about your adventures tomorrow!
